Mental health crisis: study probes depression in Iraq's heart surgery teams
NCT ID NCT06702761
Summary
This study aims to understand how common and how severe depression is among healthcare workers who perform heart and chest surgeries in Baghdad. Researchers will ask 200 surgeons, nurses, and other staff to fill out a short mental health questionnaire. The goal is to identify which job factors might be linked to higher depression levels, to help inform better support systems for these essential workers.
