Summary
This study aims to understand how common depression and mild memory problems are in adults hospitalized for chronic heart failure, and whether these issues lead to worse health outcomes. Researchers will follow 300 participants for 12 months, tracking serious events like death, heart attacks, or repeat hospital stays. The study does not test any new treatment, but gathers information to improve future care.
