First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 35 times

Summary

This study tests how accurately three different intraoral scanners can capture the shape of toothless upper and lower jaws. Thirty patients will have their jaws scanned with each scanner, and the results will be compared to a highly precise industrial scan. The goal is to see which scanner technology works best for making digital dental impressions in people without teeth.
