Summary

This study looked at 72 adults to see how certain nerve chemicals (substance P and CGRP) in saliva and tooth pulp relate to dental pain, inflammation, and psychological stress. Participants provided saliva samples and had their pain levels and mental health assessed. The goal was to better understand the biological and emotional factors behind tooth pain.
