Dental implant study seeks best way to heal after tooth extraction

NCT ID NCT07585539

First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at how the initial tightness (stability) of a dental implant and the type of temporary restoration affect healing and bone levels around the implant. About 90 healthy adults needing a back tooth replaced will receive implants and be grouped by stability level. Researchers will measure implant integration, bone changes, and gum health over one year to find the best approach.
