Dental implant study: does stability matter for healing?
NCT ID NCT07585539
First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026
Summary
This study looks at how the initial tightness (stability) of a dental implant and the type of temporary tooth placed affect healing and bone loss over one year. About 90 healthy adults needing a back tooth replaced will get an implant right after the tooth is pulled. Depending on the implant's stability, they will either get no temporary tooth, a healing cap, or a temporary crown. The goal is to learn what works best for long-term implant success.
