Dental implant study seeks best recipe for immediate tooth replacement
NCT ID NCT07585539
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at how the initial tightness (stability) of a dental implant and the type of temporary restoration affect healing and bone levels after immediate tooth replacement in the back of the mouth. Researchers will place implants in 90 people and assign them to one of three groups based on implant stability: low, moderate, or high. Depending on the group, the implant will either be covered, fitted with a healing cap, or given a temporary crown. The goal is to see which approach leads to the best implant integration and bone stability after one year.
