New Gum-Grafting material tested to make dental implant care easier

Summary
This study aims to see if a lab-made collagen material works as well as taking tissue from a patient's own mouth to build up the firm, pink gum tissue around dental implants. Researchers will compare the two methods in 30 people with dental implants who need more of this protective gum tissue. They will measure how well the gum tissue grows and stays healthy over two years, and ask patients about their comfort and recovery.
