New Gum-Grafting material tested to make dental implant surgery easier
NCT ID NCT07056959
Summary
This study is comparing two ways to build up the firm, pink gum tissue around dental implants. Researchers want to see if a lab-made collagen material works as well as the current standard, which involves taking tissue from the roof of the patient's mouth. The goal is to find a method that is just as effective but may be less painful and require less surgery time. They will follow 30 participants for two years to measure gum health, implant stability, and patient comfort.
