Researchers test digital scans for dental implants
NCT ID NCT07466355
Summary
This study aimed to find the best digital scanning method for dental implant abutments when the usual scanning tools are not available. Researchers compared three different digital scanning workflows on 12 adult participants with healthy mouths and existing implants. They measured how accurately each method captured the 3D position of the implants to see if a combined scanning approach worked as well as a direct scan.
