Researchers test digital scans for dental implants
NCT ID NCT07466355
Summary
This study aimed to find the most accurate way to digitally scan existing dental implant abutments when the standard scanning tools are not available. Researchers compared three different digital scanning methods on 12 participants with dental implants. The goal was to see if combining different scanning techniques could work as well as directly scanning the abutment in the mouth.
