New jawbone building techniques tested for stronger dental implants
NCT ID NCT07171476
Summary
This study compared two new surgical methods for building up thin jawbone when placing a dental implant immediately after a tooth is pulled. 24 patients with a specific type of bone defect were randomly assigned to receive either a traditional bone graft or one of two newer techniques designed to better hold the graft material in place. The goal was to see which method best improved bone volume and implant stability over six months.
