Blood-Based plug aims to speed dental healing for smokers

NCT ID NCT07364890

Summary

This study is testing if a plug made from a patient's own blood platelets can help tooth sockets heal better after an extraction. It focuses on smokers, who often have slower healing. Each participant will have two teeth removed; one socket gets the special plug, and the other heals normally for comparison.
