Two gum graft techniques face off for better dental bridges
NCT ID NCT07434297
Summary
This study compared two minor surgical techniques for building up gum tissue where a tooth is missing, to prepare the area for a fixed dental bridge. Researchers tested whether using a graft with some surface skin left on worked better than one with all skin removed. The goal was to see which method created thicker, healthier-looking gum tissue and caused less pain during healing for the 24 participants.
