Scientists to infect volunteers with dengue in quest for better vaccines

Summary
This study will give 5 healthy adults in Singapore a weakened form of the dengue virus to safely create a mild infection. Researchers will closely monitor how the virus behaves and how the immune system responds. The goal is to build a reliable model for testing future dengue vaccines and treatments.
