Kenya fights dementia stigma with community education

Summary
This study aims to test a community education program designed to reduce stigma and improve understanding of dementia in rural Kenya. Researchers will first survey and interview local residents to understand current beliefs, then refine and test a four-session group program. The goal is to create a resource that improves community attitudes and support for people with dementia and their caregivers.
