New study tests Brain-Friendly learning to ease dementia caregiver burden

Summary

This study tests a learning technique called structured retrieval practice (SRP) to help family caregivers of people with dementia. About 65 caregivers will be randomly assigned to learn caregiving and stress-management strategies using SRP or traditional reading. The goal is to see if SRP improves knowledge, confidence, and reduces stress compared to standard education.
