First seen Mar 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looked at whether measuring the skin's electrical activity can warn of agitation or combative outbursts in people with dementia. 21 patients from a dementia unit took part. The goal was to see if a warning signal appears before an outburst, which could help caregivers prevent it and allow patients to stay at home longer.
