First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study aims to see if a computer can learn to predict how well a treatment for a certain type of vision loss will work over two years. The treatment involves regular eye injections for a condition called myopic choroidal neovascularization, which can cause blindness. Researchers will use special eye scans and computer models to find patterns that predict if the disease will come back or if vision will worsen, helping doctors personalize future treatments.
