Summary
This study tested whether new deep learning (AI) technology can make prostate MRI scans faster while still finding suspicious nodules. Researchers compared standard MRI sequences with faster, AI-enhanced versions in 34 adults referred for prostate MRI. The goal was to see if the quicker scans could match standard ones in detecting potential cancer, which could reduce exam time and improve patient comfort.
