This study tested two different spots in the brain for deep brain stimulation to control tremors in people with Parkinson's disease. 27 participants received stimulation in both the posterior subthalamic area and the subthalamic nucleus to see which worked better. The goal was to find the best target for reducing shaking without needing more medication.
