Summary
This study tests whether deep brain stimulation (DBS) can safely help people with severe alcohol use disorder who haven't gotten better with standard treatments. DBS uses small electrical signals to change brain activity in areas linked to craving and self-control. The trial will measure changes in drinking days and alcohol units per week, and track any side effects from the surgery or stimulation.
