New tool aims to personalize blood cancer care for older adults
NCT ID NCT06296368
Summary
This study is testing a new decision support tool called PRIME to see if it helps older adults with blood cancers and their doctors make initial treatment choices that better reflect what matters most to the patient. The tool asks patients about their treatment priorities and creates a personalized report for both the patient and doctor to review. Researchers will compare outcomes for 500 patients aged 60+ who either use the PRIME tool or receive usual care before their first oncology visit.
