NCT ID NCT07620535

First seen Jun 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at how decision counseling affects people who get a positive result on the Shield blood test for colorectal cancer. Researchers want to see if counseling helps reduce confusion and increases the chance of getting a follow-up colonoscopy. About 350 adults aged 45-75 will take part. The goal is to learn what factors influence their decisions, not to test a new treatment.
