New study tracks sign language progress in deaf kids

Summary
This study looks at how deaf children in kindergarten through 3rd grade develop sign language skills. Eight children from a school for the deaf will be observed daily as they receive a special type of signing instruction. The goal is to understand how their language skills grow, not to test a new treatment or cure.
