Zoom therapy for deaf adults shows promise in cutting suicide risk

Summary
This study tests a two-session Zoom therapy (Deaf CBT-TS) for Deaf adults with untreated depression, anxiety, PTSD, insomnia, or alcohol problems. The goal is to change negative beliefs about treatment and encourage them to seek professional help. Researchers will also check if the therapy reduces suicidal thoughts and improves hope. Participants are randomly assigned to get the therapy right away or wait four months.
