NCT ID NCT07369882
First seen Jan 28, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study compares a less extensive surgery (de-escalated) to standard surgery for people with advanced head and neck cancer who have already responded well to immunotherapy and chemotherapy. The goal is to see if the smaller surgery can control the cancer just as well while improving quality of life and preserving important functions like swallowing and speech. About 60 adults will take part, and the study will track cancer return, survival, and daily living outcomes for up to 5 years.
