Could less surgery be better? new trial for head and neck cancer patients

Summary
This study compares a less extensive surgery to standard surgery for people with advanced head and neck cancer who have already responded well to immunotherapy and chemotherapy. The goal is to see if the smaller surgery can control the cancer just as well while improving quality of life and preserving important functions like swallowing and speech. About 60 adults will take part, and they will be followed for up to 5 years.
