Summary
This study tested a new vaccine made by fusing a patient's own immune cells with their tumor cells. The goal was to see if it is safe and can boost the immune system to attack advanced melanoma. Twenty adults with progressive, measurable metastatic melanoma received the vaccine. The study focused on safety, immune response, and any tumor shrinkage.
