New breast scan may predict chemo response early
NCT ID NCT03822312
First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests a new imaging method called DBT-TOBI, which combines a 3D mammogram with a light-based scan, to see if it can predict how well breast cancer responds to chemotherapy before surgery. About 30 women with HER2+ or triple-negative breast cancer will get scans before and during treatment. The goal is to find early signs of whether the cancer will be completely gone by the time of surgery.
