First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether a culturally adapted version of Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills training (DBT-A-ST) helps teens aged 12-18 with emotional disorders like depression or anxiety. About 160 participants will be randomly assigned to either the DBT group or a standard support group. Researchers will track changes in emotional and behavioral symptoms during treatment and for 3 months after to see which approach works better.
