Home same day: study tests Quick-Recovery prolapse surgery

This study tested whether surgery for pelvic organ prolapse (when pelvic organs slip down) could be safely performed as a same-day outpatient procedure, allowing patients to go home the day of surgery. Researchers followed 38 patients to see if this approach was practical and to measure recovery, pain, complications, and patient satisfaction over two years. The goal was to gather evidence to make this convenient, same-day surgery option more widely available for eligible patients.
