First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study aims to see if machine learning can predict which HIV patients are likely to miss clinic visits or have treatment failure. Researchers will develop risk prediction tools and test them in large HIV care programs in Kenya. The goal is to help healthcare workers intervene early and improve patient retention and viral suppression. About 80,000 adults will be included, and clinics using the tool will be compared to those that do not.
