Massive data dive reveals hidden patterns in common eye diseases
NCT ID NCT07308639
First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looks at health records from 50,000 people in Germany to find out how common three eye diseases—nAMD, DME, and RVO—are and how they've changed from 2009 to 2024. Researchers will compare two large data sources to see trends and what factors like age or other health issues might play a role. The goal is to better understand these conditions and how they are treated, not to test a new drug or cure.
