First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests whether a new type of radiation seed, called DaRT, can safely treat prostate cancer that has returned after initial treatment. Ten men with non-metastatic, locally recurrent prostate cancer will receive the seeds directly into the tumor. The main goal is to see if the seeds can be placed correctly and safely, with a secondary focus on quality of life.
