New sleep drug could help Alzheimer's patients get better rest

Summary
This study tests whether daridorexant, a sleep medication, can safely improve sleep in older adults with mild cognitive impairment or mild-to-moderate Alzheimer's disease who also have insomnia. About 62 participants will take the drug and have their sleep measured in a lab. The goal is to see if it increases total sleep time and reduces nighttime wakefulness.
