New hope for Alzheimer's patients struggling with sleepless nights

Summary
This study tests whether daridorexant, a sleep aid, can safely improve total sleep time in 62 adults aged 60-85 with mild cognitive impairment or mild-to-moderate Alzheimer's disease who also have chronic insomnia. Participants will have their sleep measured in a lab. The goal is to see if the drug helps them sleep longer and wake less during the night.
