Heart bypass patients: could two blood thinners beat one?

Summary
This study compares two blood-thinning drugs (ticagrelor plus aspirin) versus aspirin alone in about 2,200 adults who had heart bypass surgery after a recent heart attack or unstable angina. The goal is to see if the two-drug combination reduces major heart problems like death, heart attack, or stroke over 12 months. Participants must have had their first bypass within 6 weeks of their heart event and cannot be on other blood thinners.
