Summary
This study tested a gel containing dapsone (7.5%) against a placebo gel in 100 adults with mild-to-moderate acne. Participants applied the gel once daily for 8 weeks, and researchers tracked changes in acne lesions, skin oil, redness, and quality of life. The goal was to see if the active gel works better than the placebo at improving acne and related skin issues.
