First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests whether dapagliflozin, a drug already approved for diabetes and heart failure, is safe to give before surgery in people with early-stage lung adenocarcinoma. About 48 participants will take the drug for a short time before their planned surgery. The goal is to see if it can help make the surgery more effective by targeting a protein that is common in these cancer cells.
