First seen Feb 12, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looks at whether dapagliflozin, a drug used for diabetes, can improve heart muscle function in people hospitalized with acute heart failure. About 188 adults will take the drug or not for three months, and doctors will use special ultrasound imaging to measure changes in heart strain. The goal is to see if the drug helps the heart pump better and remodel over time.
