Summary

This study tests whether dapagliflozin, a diabetes medicine, can improve heart muscle function in people hospitalized with acute heart failure. About 188 adults will take the drug daily for three months and have heart ultrasounds to measure changes. The goal is to see if the drug helps the heart pump better and remodel itself.
