New antibiotic shield for kids with leukemia?

Summary

This study tests if a long-acting antibiotic called dalbavancin can prevent serious bloodstream infections in children and young adults with high-risk leukemia who are receiving strong chemotherapy. About 29 participants will receive the drug every 28 days. The goal is to see if it reduces infections and is safe and tolerable.
