First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at how dairy protein from yogurt, compared to plant-based yogurt, affects body composition, bone health, and gut bacteria in overweight postmenopausal women. Participants will follow a 12-week weight loss diet and be randomly assigned to eat yogurt, plant-based yogurt, or no supplement. The goal is to understand how dairy protein may improve health through changes in gut microbes.
