Summary

This study looks at how dairy protein from yogurt, compared to a plant-based alternative, affects body composition, bone density, and gut bacteria in overweight postmenopausal women. Participants will follow a 12-week weight loss diet and be assigned to eat yogurt, plant-based yogurt, or no supplement. The goal is to understand how dairy protein may improve health through changes in the gut microbiome.
