First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at whether draining fluid from the chest every day helps people with advanced cancer breathe better compared to draining it only three times a week. About 257 adults with cancer-related fluid buildup around the lungs will take part. The goal is to see which schedule allows the chest tube to be removed sooner.
