Simple daily habits may fight cancer return

NCT ID NCT05036109

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looked at whether taking vitamin D and aspirin daily, along with exercise and a low-fat diet, could lower the chance of colorectal cancer returning in people who had already been treated. It involved 16 adults with no visible cancer but with tiny bits of cancer DNA in their blood. The goal was to see if these lifestyle changes could clear that DNA and prevent recurrence.
