First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tested whether doing a simple ultrasound at the bedside every day helps doctors better manage fluid levels in patients hospitalized for acute heart failure. The goal was to see if this approach leads to fewer patients being readmitted to the hospital within 30 days. The study involved 250 adults with heart failure and reduced heart function.
