First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests whether replacing regular cooking oil with diacylglycerol (DAG) oil for four weeks can improve blood sugar control and metabolism in 40 middle-aged and older adults with prediabetes. Participants will either use DAG oil or regular colza oil while keeping their usual lifestyle. The goal is to see if this simple change can help manage prediabetes and reduce future health risks.
