New hope for CF constipation? IBS drug gets trial

Summary

This study is testing whether a drug already approved for irritable bowel syndrome can help relieve constipation in people with cystic fibrosis. About 25 participants will take the medication twice daily for four weeks. They will track their bowel movements and symptoms using daily diaries and questionnaires to see if the treatment helps.
