Summary

This study will use a new 3D imaging technique (EIT) to observe how blood flow in the lungs switches on and off in a cycle during mechanical ventilation. The goal is to see if this pattern can be detected in 40 adults with moderate to severe ARDS. No treatment is given; the study only monitors and measures.
