NCT ID NCT07212959
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 36 times
Summary
This study tested a new type of PET/CT scan that looks for inflammation in people with systemic sclerosis, a disease that causes scarring in organs like the lungs and skin. The goal was to see if the scan could find early signs of inflammation before permanent damage occurs. Twelve adults with early-stage disease took part, and the scan measured activity of immune cells involved in the condition.
